OSD, LLC is a multimedia and brand marketing company that works with clients in the footwear industry. The message is clear and we deliver it on many levels.
OSD hosts a weekly internet-based sneaker talk show that was launched in August of 2007. The live weekly podcast covers sneaker news all the while allowing listeners and callers to interact with other sneaker lovers in the live chat room as the live show is taking place. The OSD Talk Show takes place every Wednesday at 9:30 pm EST. We have listeners from at least 7 different countries around the world.
We have interviewed a number of people in the footwear industry, as well as the music and entertainment worlds, some of the guests that have appeared on OSD have been Bobbito Garcia (Bounce Magazine), Chi McBride (Actor, ABC’s Pushing Daisies and Fox’s Boston Public), MC Shan (Juice Crew), Phife Dawg (ATCQ), DJ Clark Kent, D’Wayne Edwards (Senior Design Director Jordan Brand/ PENSOLE Founder), and the legendary Tinker Hatfield (Nike VP of Special Projects) just to name a few.
OSD reached it’s 200th Episode in early November of 2011. The show recently surpassed the 1 Million download mark since it premiered almost 5 years ago.
OSD has been featured on Spike TV’s “Playbook”, and on G4TV’s “Attack of the Show”.
In June of 2011, OSD launched and 8 week workshop called “SOLEcial Studies: Sneakers, Their Impact on Lifestyles, Culture, and People in the 21st Century”. The ground-breaking footwear education workshop had esteemed guest speakers from the sneaker industry and living legends from the Hip-Hop music industry such as Milk D of legendary Hip-Hop Group (Audio 2), and 5ft of legendary Hip-Hop group (Black Moon). The class is offered to the public and is currently being taught online to students in 4 different countries.
OSD has also taught about sneaker culture at universities around the country like Parson’s School of Design in New York City, and the University of Oregon as part of the PENSOLE footwear design program. OSD has also held footwear workshops for non-profit organizations such as City Kids in New York City as well.
