If you grew up in the ’90s you saw a number of great NBA games between the Pistons and the Bulls or the Lakers versus the Celtics !
Even though there were some amazing games between the Bulls and the Knicks, such as the ’93 playoff game where John Starks threw down a monster left-handed dunk on Horace Grant and Michael Jordan, some of the most entertaining games were between the Reggie Miller-led Indianapolis Pacers and the New York Knickerbockers!
And, roaming the paint, was the ever-present, deeply Jamaican-rooted star, Patrick Ewing.
Earlier this year, when Ewing Athletics announced that the Ewing sneakers were being retroed, and would be released this summer, we knew folks would dig what Ewing was cookin’!
We’re excited that the 33 Hi sneakers are being released in the Knicks’ home and away colors, along with the classic red and black pair, and the timeless black and white pair, which seemed to be the pair of choice that folks in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, rocked with the strap hanging from the back!
